Galactic Pi Shawl KAL
This listing is for a series of DIGITAL DOWNLOADs for the a Knit Along shawl pattern. This exciting and fun online Knit Along features an original shawl knitting pattern designed by J. L. Fleckenstein.
Celebrate the heavens, space, astrology, Pluto, the future (whatever floats your space ship) by participating in our upcoming Galactic Pi Shawl KAL. This will be a circular shawl using the pi formula for knitting circular shawls. The pattern will be designed and written in such as way as to help even newer knitters have success. This pattern will be tech edited prior to publication.
The Autumnal Equinox occurs at 3:50 a.m. Monday September 23, 2019 and we will release our Galactic Pi Shawl KAL pattern in full at that time.
Yarn Requirements: Four (4) 100 gram hanks fingering weight yarn. We are creating specially designed colors for this extraordinary shawl based on all nine planets in the Solar System and a background "Deep Space" color.

The KAL will be hosted in the Fleckenstein and Friends group at Ravelry where you can find pattern support and share your photos while praising the photos of others.
Complete details regarding this KAL are contained in the first file you will download, the "Intro Packet". The day the KAL begins you will receive a second download link which will provide you with the complete pattern. Though the pattern will be tech edited prior to publication, the might be one or more technical updates if any Errata are required.

Those who order and download the KAL here at Lucky Violet Color Co will be entitled to a free copy of the pattern at Ravelry as soon as we publish it there.
The Intro packet provides all of the information needed in terms of yarn and tool requirements, clue release dates, etc. So, please download this document and review to get your questions answered.
