Rainbows of Hope #2
"Andrà tutto bene" ... Everything will be all right."
Children in Italy began a movement of hope when they began creating pictures of rainbows and placing them in their windows with the slogan, "Andrà tutto bene," which translates to "Everything will be all right," in English.
Rainbow of Hope #2 is submitted by Charlotte W. at 11 years old. This is an acrylic on canvas. The image is Copyright (c) 2018 Charlotte W and is used here on our site by permission for a limited time.
We invite our customers and email subscribers to submit rainbows of hope created by their children or grandchildren, nieces, or nephews. We will post one new Rainbow of Hope each day as an inspiration photo. The copyright will remain with your family, and we will only keep the image live on our site for a limited time. We don't claim any ownership of the images submitted. Mostly we think the children will enjoy seeing their artwork displayed on a professional website and will know their images are being seen by others around the world.
If you make a submission, please include the first name and initial for the last name of the child who created the rainbow if you feel comfortable doing so. That way, if anyone orders a palettes based on that picture the child artist's name will be included on the yarn label.
We will post Rainbows of Hope as long as we have entries to post, one per day. There is no requirement to purchase yarn to have your cherished child's artwork posted.
Rainbows of Hope colors are available on a variety of our Group A yarn bases as:
- Single 100-gram hank colors
- 50/50 bundles hanks (two colors dyed on two 50-gram hanks of yarn; 100 grams total)
- 3-Color Bebes (three colors dyed on three 20-gram hanks of yarn; 60 grams total)
- 3-Color Palettes (three colors dyed on three 100-gram hanks of yarn; 300 grams total)
We also want to use traffic to these inspiration photos as a means of shining light on a charity we actively support, Feeding America. From their website:
"Every dollar raised from the COVID-19 response fund will be used to get food and funds to local food banks across the U.S". If you can, please consider supporting this endeavor by clicking --> here.
Our hand painted yarns are micro-brewed by individual fine artists. Variations between hanks reflect the beauty of these one-of-a-kind, artist creations. When you order multiple hanks in the same colorway, they are dyed in one batch and great care is taken to match hue, tint/shade, variegation, and sprinkles. Even with that, there may be some variations between hanks ... such is the nature of our fine art fiber products.
