Where has the time gone; where have the leaves, the sky, the green grasses gone. It is nearly one full month to the day since I have posted.  My intent is to post once per week, to treat this blog as a weekly feature and responsibility that my readers depend upon. Bronchitis Friday

Yes, my cold turned ugly. Monday my doctor told me I had bronchitis and he put me on antibiotics. I am feeling better now, but not completely out of the woods as yet. The Cold of '07 has been quite a bugger for my husband and I both; he is still coughing now and then, although fortunately his did not go the bronchitis route. Of course, I can be optimistic and look on the bright side ... at least The Cold struck mid-November rather than mid-December. Somehow it seems more favorable to be ill over Thanksgiving than Christmas. It gives...

Back in the summer, on our way back from church one Sunday morning, we stopped up the road a bit so I could shoot a photograph of a nice old barn I admired. I got the shot I wanted, but as we pulled away I caught sight of a second, smaller barn that was back a bit behind the first one. We had a lovely Thanksgiving weekend. We went from a hard and heavy frost Wednesday morning to Indian summer weekend days. Saturday was so warm and pretty it led to yard work by my husband and a vigorous porch sweeping by me. We have a good sized, partially enclosed porch and it was nice to clear the leaves off that had been gathering over the fall months. My husband mowed the lawn and mulched the many leaves from the lawn.  In the photo of the willow here, the lawn looks pale green.  I shot that photo on Wednesday when frost...
