When we were children, my sister had a santa that looked much like today's Santa. I have no idea how she came to have him, but I distinctly recall he belonged to her for some reason. It snowed heavily for much of the day yesterday; after about the first hour or so it started sticking to the ground. We got several inches of snow, and the dogs had a particularly good time romping in it. In today's Advent of Santa you see a second Santa Claus from my collection. This one my son bought for me in Colorado when he was about eleven years old. He was visiting with his father before Christmas, and saw this Santa in a shop window. Some time ago I came across these gorgeous Espresso colored gift boxes that are 6" x 6" x 4" and I knew that all of the goodies I put into a Biscuit Blanket kit would fit perfectly inside of one. I also knew that the yarn, the note card and the recipe cards would look scrumptious inside a box that color.
